We are pleased to inform you that we have launched a new scholarly journal entitled the ‘Open Journal of Implant Dentistry’ (OJID). It is published in association with the South African Society of Dental Implantology (SASDI) as its official mouthpiece.

Aim of the journal
OJID will address the undeniable need for reputable information on advances of the standards of care of surgical and restorative implant dentistry, particularly within Africa and the developing world. Globally, several hundred million people are missing one or more teeth, with more than 40 million fully edentulous in the western world. This number is even higher in Africa and other developing countries.
